TOUR DESCRIPTION
PICK UP PLACE & TIME (day 1st):
Your hotel in Bogor city area, at 7.00 am
or, Your hotel in Jakarta area at 5.30 am
RETURN PLACE & TIME (day 4th):
hotel in Pangandaran area, at about 5.00 pm
ITINERARY:
Day 1. Bogor – Salak Mount National Park – Mount Salak
from your hotel in Bogor city we drive to Salak Mount National Park for about 2,5 hours. start hiking through the jungle forest for about 2 hours then will be arrived in Crater which located in the middle of the jungle forest. Explore Crater and enjoy an amazing landscape and activities of crater such as panorama of crater, hot & cold lava, white river, sulphur gass and smoke of crater. Then visit a beautiful nature of Waterfall in green surrounded and you can swim or just for picture. continue driving to campsite. experience camping with barbeque dinner party, bonfire, city light view and night sky. night stay and relax sleep at tent.
Day 2. Mount Salak – Puncak – Bandung
at about 5.30 am wake up early to catch the sunrise from your tent. enjoy the morning with coffee or tea while seeing the beautifull sunrise with mountain view, rice villages and city view from your tent. have a traditional breakfast such as nasi goreng with some local fruits. Then drive to Puncak Pass to see a beautifull landscape of tea plantation, continue driving to Bandung and check in hotel in Bandung city
Day 3. Bandung – Kampung Naga tribe – Pangandaran
after breakfast we check out hotel and drive to Garut city to visit Kampung Naga tribe, the oldest and authentic places of Sundanesse, the native area and original people from West Java which living style with no-electric, no tv, no radio, no-electronic, no-cellular phone and no-modern equipment.
then continue driving to Pangandaran. on the way we’ll see some beautiful rice terraces , vegetables plantation, Cassava, rubber, palm oil etc. check in hotel in pangandaran and good to see Sunset around beach of Pangandaran.
Day 4. Pangandaran – Situmang – Green Canyon – Turtles – Pangandaran
after breakfast we drive to Situmang to experience an adventure swim in a Paradise river. Then drive to Green Canyon to explore a green turquise river by traditional boat, then drive again to visit Turtle Conservation. drive back to your hotel in Pangandaran. tour finish.

Common questions about our 4-Day West Java Highlights Tour
You will experience a perfect mix of adventure and comfort. On the first night, you will camp in the Mount Salak mountains with all equipment provided (tent, sleeping bags, and mattress). For the remaining nights, you will stay in comfortable, selected hotels in Bandung and Pangandaran.
Hotel breakfasts and a special Barbeque dinner with a bonfire during your camping night are included. Regular lunches and dinners are excluded, giving you the freedom to explore authentic local culinary options along the way. Your guide will happily recommend the best local restaurants!
The activities require a moderate level of fitness but are beginner-friendly. The jungle trek to the crater and the Situmang body rafting are safe and guided by local experts. Since this is a private tour, we can adjust the walking pace to ensure you are comfortable throughout the journey.
Please bring comfortable trekking shoes, a warm jacket for the mountain camping, swimwear for the waterfalls and body rafting, sunscreen, insect repellent, and personal medication. A dry bag is also recommended to protect your phone or camera during the Green Canyon river cruise.
We provide pick-up on Day 1 from your hotel in the Bogor area (at 7:00 AM) or Jakarta area (at 5:30 AM). The tour officially ends on Day 4 with a drop-off at your hotel in the Pangandaran area around 5:00 PM.
