Depart early to beat the traffic!
09:30 AM Safari Journey (Drive-Thru)
45 minutes driving among free-roaming lions, tigers, and zebras.
11:00 AM Baby Zoo & Photo Session
Hold a baby orangutan, tiger, or bird.
12:30 PM Panda Palace (Istana Panda)
Take the shuttle bus up to the highest point to see Cai Tao & Hu Chun. Lunch time.
02:00 PM Animal Shows
Dolphin show, Cowboy show, or Birds of Prey show.

Is the food inside Taman Safari Halal?
Yes, absolutely. Most restaurants and food courts inside Taman Safari serve Halal food (Indonesian & Western cuisine). There are also many Musholla (Prayer Rooms) conveniently located throughout the park for your prayers.
I heard Puncak traffic is bad. How do we manage?
We manage this by starting early. We highly recommend picking you up at 07:00 AM – 07:30 AM from Jakarta. This way, we arrive before the traffic restrictions begin. Our drivers are also experts in local alternative routes (“jalan tikus”) if needed.
Is the park stroller & wheelchair friendly?
Yes! The Safari Journey is done comfortably inside our private car. For the recreation areas (Baby Zoo, Panda Palace), there are paved paths and ramps suitable for strollers and wheelchairs. It is very elderly and kids-friendly.
Can we feed the animals?
Yes! This is the best part. We can stop on the way to the park to buy carrots and bananas from local vendors. You can hand-feed Zebras, Llamas, and Deer directly from the car window during the Safari Journey.
Is it hot there?
Taman Safari is located at the foot of Mount Pangrango, so the weather is cool and fresh (around 18°C – 24°C), much cooler than Jakarta. We recommend wearing comfortable casual clothes and walking shoes. Bring a light jacket just in case.
