TRIP DESCRIPTION
The Itinerary: A Journey to the Heart of Java
DAY 1: Culture, Rice Fields & A Night Under the Stars
- 08:00 AM – Heritage Start: We pick you up in Jakarta or Bogor. Our first stop is the Bogor Botanical Garden, a UNESCO heritage site and the oldest in Southeast Asia. Breathe in the history under giant ancient trees.
- The Art of Puppetry: We visit a traditional Wayang Golek workshop. See how local artisans carve these famous wooden puppets by hand—a masterpiece of West Javanese art.
- Life of a Farmer: We drive towards the Mount Salak highlands. Along the way, we stop at stunning rice terraces. Don’t just watch; join the farmers! Feel the mud, learn how to plant rice, and experience the humble village life.
- Camping in the Clouds: We arrive at the campsite. As the sun sets, we light up the Bonfire. Enjoy a delicious Barbeque Dinner while gazing at the sparkling city lights from above and the starry sky. Sleep peacefully in a comfortable tent surrounded by nature.
DAY 2: Sunrise, Jungle Trekking & Walking on a Volcano
- 05:30 AM – The Golden Hour: Wake up to crisp mountain air. Sip your morning coffee/tea while watching a breathtaking sunrise over the mountains and rice villages. Breakfast is authentic: Nasi Goreng with fresh local fruits.
- Into the Rainforest: We drive to Halimun Salak National Park. This is a real tropical rainforest. Keep your eyes open for exotic birds and monkeys as we trek through the dense green canopy.
- The Crater Experience (Highlight): This is not a sightseeing deck. We will hike down and walk on the lava floor of an active crater! See the hissing sulfur smoke, bubbling mud, and hot water springs up close. It feels like being on another planet.
- Jungle Waterfall: Wash off the sweat with a refreshing swim in a hidden natural waterfall inside the jungle. The water is cool, clear, and energizing.
- The Next Destination: We trek back to the car and drive you to your next adventure—whether it’s back to Jakarta or onward to Bandung.
