A perfectly balanced 7-Day / 6-Night Journey from West to Central Java
Day 1: The Heritage Start & Mountain Camping
Route: Jakarta/Bogor ➔ Mount Salak
We pick you up from your hotel and drive to Halimun Salak National Park. We’ll visit the oldest Botanical Garden in Southeast Asia and wander through traditional villages. As evening falls, we arrive at our highland campsite. Enjoy a Barbeque dinner by the bonfire under the stars.
Day 2: Volcano Crater & Jungle Waterfalls
Route: Mount Salak ➔ Bogor City
Wake up to a golden sunrise. After breakfast, we trek deep into the tropical rainforest and walk directly on the lava floor of an active volcanic crater! Cool off with a refreshing swim in a hidden jungle waterfall before heading to our hotel in Bogor.
Day 3: The Oldest Pyramid & Tea Fields
Route: Bogor ➔ Puncak ➔ Gunung Padang ➔ Bandung
We drive through the iconic Puncak Pass with its endless tea plantations. Our journey continues to Cianjur to explore the mysterious Gunung Padang Megalithic Site. We end the day checking into a hotel in Bandung.
Day 4: Journey to the Past – Kampoeng Naga
Route: Bandung ➔ Kampoeng Naga ➔ Pangandaran
Today, we unplug from the modern world. We visit Kampoeng Naga, an isolated traditional village that rejects modern technology (no electricity or phones). In the afternoon, we drive to the southern coast and check into our hotel near Pangandaran Beach.
Day 5: Paradise River & Green Canyon
Route: Pangandaran Area Exploration
Get ready for a water adventure! Swim in a crystal-clear paradise river and explore the majestic Green Canyon on a traditional wooden boat. Afterward, visit a local Sea Turtle Conservation center before watching the sunset on the beach.
Day 6: The Great Scenic Drive to Central Java

Today is a scenic overland travel day. Relax in our comfortable AC car as we drive through the heart of Java. We will make plenty of stops at beautiful viewpoints and cafes before arriving in Yogyakarta.
Day 7: Royal Heritage & Ancient Temples
Route: Sultan Palace ➔ Prambanan Temple
Explore the Keraton (Sultan’s Palace) to learn about the rich history of the Javanese monarchy. Afterward, witness the majesty of Prambanan Temple, a 9th-century UNESCO World Heritage site, before we drop you off at your Yogyakarta hotel to conclude the tour.
