ITINERARY

Day 1: Jakarta – Bogor – Mount Salak, West Java.

After breakfast Check out from hotel in Jakarta and drive to – Mount Salak, West Of Java – Onthe way we visit Bogor Botanical Garden the UNESCO heritage site and also the largest garden in South East Asia – Visit Kampoeng Mural Village and Traditional Market – Visit Wayang golek, a traditional home industry of wooden poppet and play Gamelan a javanesse traditional music instruments.

Continue driving and see Rice Terrace, Rice and Vegetables Plantation, Rice Village, Local People Activities such as Farmer, Student local school etc – Arrived at Campsite area for Camping on highland with amazing views of mountain, city view, sunset and sunrise from your tent, also enjoy the barbeque dinner party with bonfire and night sky view – Relax sleep in tent.

Day 2: Mount Salak, – Halimun Salak national Park Bogor – Bogor City.

After breakfast we go to the Jungle of Tropical Rain Forest and do Jungle Trekking and hike to VolcanoCrater – Explore an amazing crater of active volcano which has cold lava activities, sulphur, gassmoked, bubling soft lava, hot water and unfamiliar landscape of volcano – Then visit a beautiful nature waterfall for swim or just for picture – Drive to Bogor city and Check in at Hotel in Bogor City.

Day 3 : Bogor City – Puncak Tea Plantation – Pyramid Mount Padang – Bandung City.

After breakfast Check out from hotel in Bogor City – and drive to Bandung city – on the way we visitPuncak Pass with stunning views over the surroundings and the endless Tea Plantations – Continuedriving to Cianjur to visit the Mysterious Megalitic Site Pyramid Mount Padang and learn aboutMegalitic Site Pyramid Mount Padang andContinue driving – to Bandung city and Check in hotel in Bandung City.

Day 4 : Bandung city tour.

After breakfast we drive for bandung city tour to visit some historical places such as Braga art deco, Gedong Sate, Asia Africa street, Udjo angklung school, Paris Van Java. Drive back to hotel for night stay.

Note:

before sleep, please, put your luggages in the car and the driver will drive to Yogyakarta in the night! Take only small things you need for night stay in hotel from your luggages and put into your smaller bag. And tomorrow your driver will be standby waiting at Yogyakarta Train station to pick you up, then continue driving to your hotel

Day 5: Bandung – Yogyakarta (by train)

After breakfast you check out hotel and drive to Bandung Train Station.

Experience the Javatrain rides and enjoy the some beautiful view and scenery along the journey from Bandungto Yogyakarta. At Yogyakarta Station you will be picked up by your car driver and continuedriving to your hotel.

Day 6: Yogyakarta – Borobudur – Prambanan – Yogyakarta.

After breakfast we drive to visit Borobudur temple. Borobudur is the largest and most beautifulBuddhist temple complex in the world. It is one of the wonders of the world and is on the WorldHeritage List of UNESCO. Continue driving to Continue driving to Prambanan (optional). Prambanan is a Hindist temple complexand its one of the wonders of the world and is on the World Heritage List of UNESCO. Drive back to Yogyakarta city.

Day 7 : Yogyakarta city tour

After breakfast we drive to Keraton /Sultan palace a Java kingdom place.

Continue driving to visit Benteng Belanda (Fort Vredeburg), Continue driving to Continue driving to visit Jomblang cave. Extravisit to the traditional Batik Painting and lesson and Silver craft. Drive back To your hotel.

Note:

before sleep, please, put your luggages in the car and the driver will drive to Mojokertoin the night! Take only small things you need for night stay in hotel from your luggages andput into your smaller bag. And tomorrow your driver will be standby waiting at Mojokerto Train station to pick you up then continue driving to Bromo

Day 8: Yogyakarta – Mojokerto (by train) – Bromo

After breakfast you check out hotel and drive to Yogyakarta Train Station.

Experience the Java train rides and enjoy the scenic and some beautifull views of panorama from the train. Arrived in Mojokerto and continue driving to mount Bromo and check in hotel in mount bromo area.

Day 9: Bromo – Bromo Sunrise Tour – Banyuwangi

Early morning you will be picked up by Jeeps 4WD and drive to point view of Bromo sunrise.Enjoy the spectacular view of sunrise over the mount tengger, mount semeru, mount batok.Continue exploring the bromo savannah and hike to the crater by horse riding. Continuedriving back to Hotel and prepare to leave. Check out hotel and drive to Banyuwangi andcheck in Hotel in Banyuwangi area.

Day 10 : Banyuwangi – Ijen tour – Ketapang – Gilimanuk (by Ferry) – Lovina, Bali

Early morning at about 4.00 am we drive to mount Ijen by Jeeps 4WD. Do trekking to catch the Ijen sunrise. Continue trekking to visit ijen acid lake. Drive back to hotel for breakfastand prepare to leave the hotel.

After lunch at about 12.00 noon we check out hotel and drive to Ketapang port (East Java).Take a Ferry boat and cross to Gilimanuk port (Bali) – continue driving to Lovina, Bali and drop off you at hotel in Lovina area. Tour finished

We had a wonderful day with Ridwan and his driver. He is a very funny guide and knows much about the region and the... volcano. Even it was raining, it was a beautiful walk through the jungle. The crater was very interesting to see and we had lunch directly there. Never had lunch on a volcano crater. Ridwans service was perfect,. Snacks and food was very good. He sent us much photos and a little video from the day. I highly recommend Ridwan.read more

Fantastic way to spend a day! We traveled for the day from Jakarta which was simple with a direct train. Ridwan was... there to collect us at the station and then we were on our way. The extra stops on the way to the hike were interesting and the hike itself was a lot of fun! The crater is breathtaking and being able to swim in one of the pools is an experience we've never had anywhere else. The waterfall on the way back down is also very refreshing (too refreshing for me to go all the way in!). Thanks again for a great day Ridwan, and we will fully recommend this hike to anyone we meet! If you make it to Bogor and you like a vigorous outdoor adventure, this is likely the best single day trip you can... make. Having been to Indonesia eight times and with several trips to Bogor, this was by far my most enjoyable experience yet on the island of Java. After a nice visit to the rice paddies and rice mill, we set off with a ranger into the Mount Halimun Salak National Park. This is basically a jungle mountain wilderness with no roads and a few primitive trails. While not a difficult hike, it is mostly uphill through humid jungle over muddy, rocky trails with many stream crossings on logs and rocks. A bamboo hiking stick was provided and very much needed. At the top is a spectacular moonscape with many bubbling, steaming, hissing and gurgling pools, mud pots and fumeroles. Masks are provided to help with the sulfuric mist while you hike around the various features in the crater. We had lunch (provided) along with some fresh fruit we picked up at a roadside fruit stand on the way to the mountains. A dip in the warm spring nearby felt wonderful (see photo). Then we hiked back down a different route to a spectacular gorge and took a cool dip in the plunge pool. This was heavenly and it felt great to rinse off a few layers of sweat and mud. Ridwan is an excellent guide and ensured I had a good time and I appreciated his knowledge of the area and its jungle environment. He took many photos with my camera and his own and provided a nice video (no charge) documenting the trip. Our driver was also a cool guy and I enjoyed having coffee and snacks with him while on the road and after the hike. Once again, if you like the outdoors, you will find this to be a spectacular and very satisfying day, thanks to the great tour put together by Ridwan.read more

The tour was beautiful and I couldn't wish for a better guide than Ridwan. He is really nice, takes a lot of pictures... to send you afterwards and he also took care of me when I wasn't feeling well on the way there because of a mild food poisoning. He made sure we were safe and had enough to eat and drink, so we could experience the beautiful jungle and crater the best way possible!read more

I did visit Bogor few weeks back, it was disappointed with the place...before i had decided to go on trekking for Mt.... salak...surprisingly it was nicest thing to do in bogor...and also we were fortunate enough for getting the company of Mr. Ridwan...he was super sweet...he gave us our pace and time to climb up to the top...speaks fluent english..carries food and water for us all the way up to the top...and he also took some stunning pictures for us...he made the journey all the more so memorable...thanks Ridwan for an amazing trip :)read more
